Well I have some things to append to my read list, most of these have been in the past two weeks as I devoured a lot of books due to all the time I spent sunbathing the week before last!

New reads )

I'm currently reading Eclipse which is the third Twilight book, then after that I have a fair old reading list to crack on with!

I also have a load of DVDs on the way which I treated myself to last Thursday night when I thought I'd be lying in bed for a week solid!

Argh, I'm so annoyed with myself today! I was going to apply for this job, because, well, it's about time to be honest - and I was sure it ended on Saturday and you had to send a CV. So I've been working on it, almost there now apart from a little editing to get it onto 2 pages, but I would have had it ready to post off this arvo and I can hash out a covering letter pretty easily. I go to find the paper it was advertised in - closing date Weds 16th and I had to send off for a application pack *headdesk*

I have absolutely no idea what I was looking at and it was a bit of a shock because as hideous as my memory can be I do tend to remember things like that.

Sigh.

At least I have the imminent arrival of an Amazon order to look forward too, though it's another reason I desperately need a job now as I am a spending whore! I've bought the first two books in the Twilight series as I've been told I must read them, also 'Yes Man' by Danny Wallace because the premise sounds very amusing and I've heard it's good. Finally I've ordered myself a complete works of Oscar Wilde thing. I know so many of his quotes but I don't think I've read a single thing the bloke wrote so I think it's about time I changed that.

I've just started to re-read the Harry Potter series as it's been a while since I read the earlier ones and I think I've only read the last two about twice each. Now we have the whole whammy it'll be good to read them consectutively, though I'll be breaking it up with the new arrivals :)

Have to go back to the Hosp tomorrow and get prodded by Gyno. Don't think anything is going to happen, just that they're now going to look at me and assess what to do. I should probably sort out my pubes though as it's been about a week!

I've been trying to remember what books I read whilst travelling, I should have really noted it down along the way but there you go.

The List )

I'm sure there were more too. I know I read a few generic chick-lit type books, which I'm not a huge fan of but they were readily available in hostel book swaps and are readable enough for the beach. They all kind of blend into one though, so can't really remember them, though I remember one with a hot gardener called Ned and a dog called Phidough.

I've just finished the second Eragon book 'Eldest' and don't know what to move onto next.

There's 'How to be Good' by Nick Hornby but I can't really get into it. I also have a book by BoJo, another Jason Bourne book and the Bill Bryson's I uncovered downstairs. I want to read those most though so determined to get the others read first!

In gym news, had a call back and have induction tomorrow at 1pm. Looking forward to it, but new gym is a bit *eek* Still at least it should be quiet around then, I'd guess at least...
