6th-Nov-2008 03:01 pm - All is fair in love and eBay
Polka Legs
I really need to get back to work as I'm trying so so hard to stop myself bleeding money!

I want this dress on eBay (time to start preparing for party season) but it's just shot up to £16, currently with someone who has evidently put in a maximum bid, and I'm guessing it will be just over £20. It finishes at about 4.20 this arvo and luckily not being in work I do have an opportunity to try and snipe it, I reckon I could get it for about £22 if no-one else steps in, but I'm trying to decide whether I actually want it that much. I love how eBay is like a military operation for me!

I think I'm go to try and list a few things as it's been a while, and raising a bit of cash will make me feel better about what I spent on shit DVDs last night! It's currently cheap listing so might as well, and doing now will end on Sunday arvo which usually works out well :P
18th-Feb-2007 12:01 pm - Let's do the Time Warp again!
Wonder Woman
Brrrr. Am cold. Our boiler had leakage issues and the guy came to fix it yesterday. We still have hot water but no central heating :( Didn't notice yesterday but then I wasn't in much. Going to be horrible getting up for work tomorrow *shivers*

Rocky Horror was utterly fab last night! Didn't wear my corset in the end (pointless buying it now I know) as was utterly paranoid it was going come undone. Ah well, I'll know not to buy cheap foreign lingerie in the future now :P Instead I wore this wenchy type top with this amazing new bra ) I got yesterday peeping out from underneath. I had to get an E cup though o_O

Stood up and did the Time Warp in the theatre, waving my feather boas about, which was muchos fun. And, oh my, the bloke playing Frank looked unbeliveably hot. I am so going to have to get me a bloke who looks good in eyeliner, suspenders and a corset XD

I did get some weird looks in Sainsburys though when I had to stop for petrol. I was stood there in my red wig and fishnets (luckily I was wearing my coat!) filling up my car. The bloke behind the till tried to be funny as well, I asked for like fags and some Neurofen as well as he was just being overly normal so it becomes odd, if that makes sense. Then he said "Oh I have to ask, did you get your hair to match your coat or your coat to match your hair." Fucking weirdo.

Oh, and 24 hour Tesco my arse!!!! We were both hungry as neither of us got to eat before leaving so we decided to pull into 24hr Tesco on the way back to get some munchies. It was only like 11.45pm but it was shut!! Apparantly shut's at 10pm on Saturday, which is crap.

Things are looking good on eBay today - more mullah *cackle* Ooh and I opened an ISA yesterday. Went into the bank to ask for a new debit card as mine is seriously worn out and they pulled me in for a chat as I had a relatively high balance (I had only been paid the day before XD). Thought I might as well do it though as it gets no interest in my account, and because I have to actually go into a bank to get
at it I'm not going to spend it on spontaneous crap. Have stuck £500 in there for now.

Right, I'm gonna go get a jumper before my nipples fall off, and hope some tidying will warm me up. Why am I such a messy person...
7th-Feb-2007 07:04 pm - Huzzah for men in fishnets!
Wonder Woman
Thought it was about time I did an update, not to mention the fact that I'm procrastinating from tidying up. Only did it at the weekend and I'm already back in squalor. I know I'm only a short time away from stepping on an upturned plug (owwwie) so I need to get it sorted. In a bit.

So, squeeworthy news, I'm going to see the ROCKY HORROR SHOW next weekend!!! ♥♥♥ *squeeage* )

I've also made a couple of other eBay purchases over the past couple of days (bad Jennifer), but one of them was my Fuck Me Shoes )

I've got into a real shopping mood lately because now it seems likely we're going to be going to Cuba in winter 07/08. Shame it's so far away but in all honesty I'd rather go when it's nasty and cold here than July when it's usually quite nice.

On the subject of the weather, I wish they'd shut up about how cold it is and bloody snow. It's not that cold here and it's not going to snow, so frankly I couldn't give a gnat's bollock about it. Cheshire can keep it's -8c nights and I'll keep toddling off to work at 8.20am without having to extract the car from a foot of ice. That said, how happy would I be to wake up to inches upon inches of snow tomorrow and not be able to get to work. Not going to happen *pout* Curse you northern England!

I'm sure was going to babble about something else *thinks* Ooh, I am now officially icon goddess after winning three icon award type things over at [info]hp_awards - go me! And I have even seen a couple of copycat icons trying to emmulate my madd icon skillz, how cute :)

Hmm, nothing else me thinks. Off to tidy and then look for outfit goodies on t'interweb.
14th-Jan-2007 05:40 pm - My hot, hot toe-cleavage
Wonder Woman
Just had one of the weirdest eBay questions I've ever been asked! I'm selling this pair of red patent kitten heels that I have as I've only worn them once and don't know when I will again. I get a question from a guy called Pete asking what they're like to wear and how comfy they are, which is a fair enough question when buying shoes. He then replies asking if you can see the tops of your toes in them! Is this a hot thing amongst transvestites I wonder?

Anyway I send a reply basically saying 'yes, you can' to which he says "squeez lol ! have you a pic of them on ?" - Bless him for the squeeing XD I oblige with a photo - I am, after all, no stranger to shoewhoring. I then get "yes they look well sexy thanks ! your toes do show i love that !"

He could of course not be a transvestite and merely a foot pervert, but meh, if it helps sell my shoes then who cares!

Is it wrong that I find the idea of a bloke strutting around in my heels kinda hot? I'm just thinking Eddie Izzard here *mmm* Ooh, and Jason Isaacs in Sweet November! Then there's my dream about Voldemort in stilettos, but lets not revisit that XD Oh god, and who can forget DT on the Friday Night Project *dies* I'm seeing a pattern o_O

My first things are due to end in an hour so I'll go grab some popcorn or something for the finale. I have 7 things (out of 10) with bids at the mo, totally just over £30. I also agreed a Buy it Now on some other item during the week for £9. My fund is looking good! Can't list anything else today though as I won't be around next weekend.

Oh, and on that subject, managed to find my Panto tickets *squeeee* Only six days to go =D

Today is going to be mostly consumed by La eBay. Have a few lots ending this eve and looking promising at the mo. Woo for cash! I get this compulsive thing about checking every 15-30 mins to see if anything has new bids and then shrieking "Buy my stuff bitches". I've decided I have loads to sell, I have far too many possessions, and everything sold on eBay is going to sit in my Paypal account and that is going to be my holiday/flat fund.

I think that I'm going to have to stay put a while longer to be able to afford Cuba *sigh* Should be worth it though! Me and Lau came up with no definate plans last night but we're thinking about being somewhere on the main island rather than the Cayo Coco's (that was first choice as looks lush) so it'll be much easier to have a few trips out to see parts of Cuba. Have decided that we absolutely *must* go and see Havana, hopefully going to the Club Tropicana (drinks are freeeeeee!!!! Oh, can't help it XD) and catching one of the shows there. We have also come to the conclusion that going to Cuba will probably mean no Glastonbury this year *sobs* For both reasons of finance and holiday allowance. We're going for a 2 week holiday and given that it seems most flights are like a Monday/Tuesday then the whole holiday won't fit nicely in a 2 week block so will have to take an extra day or so off work at the end.

I have also decided that I *must* start going to the gym in Feb in preparation!

For now though I need to pull self away from t'interweb and sort out the oodles of crap on mt floor and do a few other such domestic duties. Joy. Sheer joy.

I really hate how long it takes to do listings on eBay, I've just waved goodbye to nearly 4 hours of my Sunday.

And now I'm ready for a week of being all consumed by it - checking for bids, seeing how many watchers I have, seeing how many people have looked at the auction *sigh*

Hopefully shall raise some cash though!

Oh I fucking love eBay.

Professor Snape Finger Puppet.

Uncanny, no?

*dies*

The other ones are warped genius too! Like 'Crash Helmet Hagrid'.

Oh. My. I've just seen 'Harry Potter's White Owl' (that would be Hedwig then)

Hedwig, supposedly.

I think my lungs just exploded XD

[edit] OMFG a plate of knitted sausages, with laminated story card, I don't even want to know... [/edit]
