Hurrah for sports bras, and hurrah to Tesco for selling stupidly cheap sports bras. I didn't have to run on the cross-trainer using one arm to clutch my boobs like some strange self-pervert today.

Gym mumblings )

Aside from the bra shopping yesterday I also went to see Indiana Jones (woo Orange Wednesdays!). I wasn't particularly struck by the trailer but wanted to see it as I'd heard some of it was set in Peru. I have to say I actually quite enjoyed it, which is prob more than can be said for the people around me when I was tutting about some of the inaccuracies of the film. Mostly about when they flew over the Nasca lines and had the Spider, Hummingbird (I think) and one of the other shapes next to each other and very close at that. Ha! Then a bit later on they had this burial temple thing which, fair enough, was on top of a cliff, but that was also right next to the lines *headdesk*

I also kept getting hysterical fits of giggles when they showed the crystal skull things as I just kept thinking about Friday's episode of Peep Show. This would be an awesome time for my memory to not be shit and possess the ability to do quotes, but it just doesn't alas!

I think tonight I'm just going to mong and watch Big Brother. I haven't been into it for years, and it usually means I'm a social leper this time of year because people babble on about it and I have no clue what's going on and therefore contribute nothing to such conversations. However, I do like the first shows when we get to see which despo's will be going into the house. I might even try and get involved this year if there's anyone remotely hot, but there never is - not for my tastes at least!

Loved the gym today. Felt so good to be back.

Who wants to take a bet that by the end of the week I'll have come over all 'I can't be arsed to go to the gyyyyym!!' XD

Nice place, everything still seems quite shiny new as it's only been open 2 years. Very shiny new in fact compared to the mis-matched old stuff they had at my last one, but that was a college gym. Some of the weights look a bit weird though, I don't recognise some of them, and the lat pull down one has this handle bar like an upside down 'V' an not a straight '-' bar, so it doesn't quite feel right to me and it limits the variations you can do with it.

I need to get myself some little gym gloves or something as it won't be long til I get rowing machine blistery things again, and I so need that sports bra - owwwey!

Oooh, pizza is here. Yes, going to the gym gives me rights to be an utter heifer now. Don't think I have anything else of note to say about today, though if I do I will come back after I have gorged myself in the manner of a what can only be described as a beast.

I've been trying to remember what books I read whilst travelling, I should have really noted it down along the way but there you go.

The List )

I'm sure there were more too. I know I read a few generic chick-lit type books, which I'm not a huge fan of but they were readily available in hostel book swaps and are readable enough for the beach. They all kind of blend into one though, so can't really remember them, though I remember one with a hot gardener called Ned and a dog called Phidough.

I've just finished the second Eragon book 'Eldest' and don't know what to move onto next.

There's 'How to be Good' by Nick Hornby but I can't really get into it. I also have a book by BoJo, another Jason Bourne book and the Bill Bryson's I uncovered downstairs. I want to read those most though so determined to get the others read first!

In gym news, had a call back and have induction tomorrow at 1pm. Looking forward to it, but new gym is a bit *eek* Still at least it should be quiet around then, I'd guess at least...
