Not long back from the second and final night of the British Fireworks Championship, and I took my camera tonight so I bring piccies! Not amazing but I don't have a top range spiffy digicam, plus I was doing it without flash which must increase the shutter speed as non-flash pics on this cam are always blurry.

Was chuffing freezing. It feels more Autumnal right now than slap-bang in the middle of Aug. I was there huddled up in a scarf like ET, as you can see from the highly attractive photo XD

The fireworks themselves were set off maybe about a mile, mile & a half from where we were(?) They launch them off Sutton Harbour breakwater, so out in the sea, and we get a great vantage point from the park by my house as you can see right down..

( Ooooooh. Aaahhh. )

Oh, got a new pair of shoes today - some purple suedey heels - must shoewhore them soon!

Aw, Jenson Button just won his first F1 race and I was a blubbering mess *waves Union Flag* Was atch one of the best races I've seen in yonks. I always like them when they're damp/wet as it just throws that extra element in th mix which so often causes things to go tits up. Fisi was doing well, even caused Schumy to drive into the back of him and lose his front wing *heh heh* but then he spun :( But yeah, very glad Jens has *finally* won, maybe we'll see a Brit driver up there more often now!

Having lazy day today. Didn't wake up til 12.45 today and I wasn't even particularly drunk last night. Had a BBQ round Lau's where some dozy bint (who wasn't actually me) left the disposable BBQ inside the cardboard tray. Lau ran upstairs to get some tongs to move the metal part out of the carboard but while she was gone the tray started burning. As did the grass around it started too. So I had to chuck a glass of Sex on the Beach on said fire, which put it out (after choking me in a fuck-off cloud of smoke) but also put out half of the BBQ! We managed to cook the food on the non-soaked half and luckily it was all veggie stuff anyway so no chance of being poisoned XD

Getting some new minions starting next week (week tomorrow) - less menial work for me - yay!!
