Thought it was about time I did an update, not to mention the fact that I'm procrastinating from tidying up. Only did it at the weekend and I'm already back in squalor. I know I'm only a short time away from stepping on an upturned plug (owwwie) so I need to get it sorted. In a bit.

I've also made a couple of other eBay purchases over the past couple of days (bad Jennifer), but one of them was my ( Fuck Me Shoes )

I've got into a real shopping mood lately because now it seems likely we're going to be going to Cuba in winter 07/08. Shame it's so far away but in all honesty I'd rather go when it's nasty and cold here than July when it's usually quite nice.

On the subject of the weather, I wish they'd shut up about how cold it is and bloody snow. It's not that cold here and it's not going to snow, so frankly I couldn't give a gnat's bollock about it. Cheshire can keep it's -8c nights and I'll keep toddling off to work at 8.20am without having to extract the car from a foot of ice. That said, how happy would I be to wake up to inches upon inches of snow tomorrow and not be able to get to work. Not going to happen *pout* Curse you northern England!

I'm sure was going to babble about something else *thinks* Ooh, I am now officially icon goddess after winning three icon award type things over at hp_awards - go me! And I have even seen a couple of copycat icons trying to emmulate my madd icon skillz, how cute :)

How much does it suck that Sky have got the UK rights to series three of Lost! What about those of us who feel no need to purge ourselves on hours of shit programming on hundreds of channels you'd never watch otherwise? Ugh. Society makes me sick sometimes. Guess I'll be carrying on with the downloads then, even when it has reached these shores.

Halloween soon *squeee* I love Halloween. It's just so much cooler than Christmas which is just a big hideous smoosh of commercialism. OK, Halloween is commercial too but you never get the whole pressure of perfection with it like some people strive for with Crimbo. It's a single day of the year, get over it. And I'm not on about people here who celebrate it for it's actual religious purposes, I'm talking about the kind of moron's who feel the need to smother their poor home in every tacky decoration going. Like those people who lost all the money in that Christmas hamper company collapse. OK, I feel sorry for them losing that money but the whole 'It'll ruin our Christmas' thing is far too much for me. In my opinion you shouldn't be spending like 2 grand on your kids Christmas presents, it'll just make them bratty fuckwits like the rest of the population. Phew.

Anyway, Halloween :P I'm being whisked to a dance fest next weekend. Zak can't make Slammin' Vinyl and so Laura was calling me and begging me to go with her. I'm more into the Rock/Indie scene but I have done the whole hardcore thing from when I was in Brum, and it is fun to dress up and go get twatted! It's all paid for so I only have to get the outfit together and some cash for beverages and the like ;) VIP too!

I'm going on a Halloween theme as I'm sure loads of people will be. Outfit thus far consists of my forever faithful green & black stripey tights and then some black fluffy boots. I then want a tutu in green & black. I did email these custom makey people yesterday asking if I ordered whether it would be ready and here for the weekend but they didn't reply today so just going to make my own. I would have done anyway if it weren't for laziness XD Made one once before and got some constructional ideas from the Cosplay forums so should be fine, going fabric shopping tomorrow. Then I think I'll keep the top simple with a black vest tee. Quite tempted to get some black fairy wings too but I don't know yet if I want to be more witchy or fairy!
